　私は東京都内に住む脳性マヒ者です。歩くこと、手で作業をすること、口で話すことができず、1日24時間ヘルパーによる介護を受けています。

　報道によれば、東京の杉並区長は、新型コロナウイルス感染症の重症者の治療で優先度を付ける「トリアージ」のガイドラインの策定を東京都に要望したようです。

　私はガイドライン策定に反対します。何故ならば、私には、人工呼吸器をつけている友達、呼吸器疾患のある友達など、新型コロナウイルス感染症になったら重症化しやすいとされる友達が多くいます。そして、私はほぼ毎年、風邪から気管支炎や肺炎になります。トリアージのガイドラインができれば，私と友達は治療の優先度が低いトリアージにされると思います。罹患し重症になれば医療を受けられないことは悲しいです。

　医療に関わる人がいま大変なことは分かりますが、障害・病気の人の選別につながるトリアージガイドラインには強く反対します。

　Dear governors,

 

 I live in Tokyo, Japan. I have cerebral palsy: I cannot walk, use my hands, talk using my mouth. I am taking an around-the-clock care service to fulfill Independent Living.

 

 According to the media, Suginami ward mayor, located in middle Tokyo,  requested adopting triage guidelines to Tokyo Governor. the Mayor has been concerning medical collapse because of COVID-19 and he said we now need to set treatment priorities.       

 I protest strongly his idea. Tokyo Governor must not adopt the triage guideline. It is because I have many friends who becomes severe symptom if they caught COVID-19. And I got bronchitis or pneumonia from a cold almost every winter. If triage guidelines are administered, I and my friends will be neglected with the severe symptom.

 I know the medical staff is the hardest time in a hospital, but I cannot accept the guideline.
